The first Middle England League game of the season was held at Lillington Bowling Club and after a dismal week the sun came out and the weather warmed up to welcome Oxfordshire ladies. Warwickshire players were in determined mode winning on four rinks and holding their opponents to a draw on the fifth to win overall by 123-77 shots.
