GCSE results day 2026 joy has been celebrated by students across Coventry and Warwickshire.Months of waiting came to an end for Year 11 learners as they picked up their grades.Many schools in our area celebrated their best ever results, while others have reported strong successes across the board.You can read about the results in our liveblog here and take a look at some of the celebrations in our gallery below.But results nationally show a widening gap between children in London and the rest of the country.The North East had the worst GCSE results of any region in England with just 17.7% of grades in the region were seven or higher.
